OUR HISTORY

Birthed in one of America’s tough areas, the Texas Penal System, Anger Solutions Network’s the Face of Anger Materials and Curriculum, has proven its self most effective since 1992. This material has helped inmates take charge of unwanted negative emotions such as anger and rage.

As the materials escaped the confines of the Texas prisons and jails, professional interest was generated by many providers. Counselors and health care providers in the therapeutic community began to inquire about the availability of our materials for their clients. Thus Anger Solutions Network was born and incorporated in 2000.

Anger Solutions Network is a Texas Chartered 501 (C) (3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to help change the face of anger in America, one face at a time. Anger Solutions Network operates as a proprietary school under an exemption from The Texas Work-Force Commission. We train and certify facilitators to use this innovative, unique and comprehensive approach to anger management.

During the period of January 1st 2001 to December 31, 2003, 4,858 people were helped with solutions to anger issues. Currently we are assisting 135 men, women and youth per month. The total that attended group and institutional classes, plus individual sessions was 3,966. The total number of professionals (counselors, teachers, facilitators & other professionals) trained was 826. Also 66 managers and employees attended seminars and schools for their agencies and corporations.

The dedicated staff has been teaching this approach to anger management and conflict resolutions to agency professionals, health care groups, city and public utilities, corporations and churches around the United States.
