Non-Certified Anger Management Facilitator:

There are two types of training available. The first type would be training to become a Non-Certified Anger Management Facilitator. This training would prepare an individual to facilitate our anger management program for certain organizations or groups. These groups may be churches, civic organizations, special needs/interest groups etc.

Certified Anger Management Specialist:

The second type of training would be comprehensive training leading to the designation of Certified Anger Management Specialist. This training prepares the individual to facilitate our program for virtually any type organization, group or agency. A substantial amount of training time is required – approximately twenty hours. This would include instruction time, study time and classroom observation periods.

Ministry Opportunities:

Ministry opportunities are available to individuals that desire to help offer an anger management program that is faith-based to specific groups. These groups would include detention centers, church groups and other spiritually focused groups. In addition, other agencies and groups offer programs and services to help people shape and rebuild their lives that have been adversely affected the negative side of anger emotions. Many such agencies are searching for anger management programs that offer a faith-based perspective. Our facilitators have a caring attitude and are available to fill these ministry needs.

There are numerous volunteer opportunities for those that wish to facilitate our anger management program or help in other needed capacities. Please be aware that a commitment to service requires necessary training and time to become proficient. Dealing directly or indirectly in the area of human emotions is challenging, but the feeling of self-satisfaction and service is most rewarding.

KEYS TO FREEDOM FROM NEGATIVE ANGER LIVING

The focal point of anger management is to realize the individuals have the power within themselves to control their anger. During our course of anger management, we develop and study TEN KEYS to gain freedom from the bondage of an anger-filled life. The study of these keys will create an awareness of the cause and effect of anger in our lives. This comprehensive study includes insights to the physical and emotional nature of anger. Just a few of the keys to dealing with anger would be our actions and reactions, commitments to good anger, attitudes, forgiveness, habits and honoring commitments we have made to ourselves and others.

Beginning an anger management program is an excellent opportunity to begin using the power of reconciling an individual’s life. This program includes the examination of the events that affected our behavior and emotions in the past. The third phase will be to determine, to the best of our ability, what our goals, drives and ambitions are for the future. These future aspirations would hopefully be accomplished without the involvement of negative anger emotions. At this point, the keys to freedom from negative anger living become critical. To ignore the ideals and concepts that these keys provide is a blueprint for failure. To use these keys is a roadmap to success.
