TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR YOUR NEEDS

MANAGEMENT TRAINING:

Anger management training is available for all levels of management and supervisory personnel. The training includes all aspects of identification and resolution of anger related situations that may arise in any business or other type organization. These programs may include both a classroom type format and a group discussion format. Any special subject matter that is deemed to be of significant value to the sponsoring group may also be incorporated in the training programs.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING:

Anger training for employees is available for all employees or may be targeted to certain departments or job classifications. All participants will be pre-tested to determine their level of understanding of the anger emotion. Participants are also post-tested after the completion of the training in order to evaluate their new level of understanding and knowledge of the anger emotion. A summary of the test results will be made available to management for review.

FACILITATOR TRAINING:

This training equips an individual with the necessary knowledge to effectively facilitate the anger management course for various groups or organizations. Many participants in this type of training wish to work with only specific groups. These would include church groups, professional groups, or associations and etc. Although individual seeking this training may not wish to become certified anger management specialist, a substantial amount of training time must be anticipated in order to reach a high level of competence.

SEMINARS/WORKSHOPS:

Seminars and workshops are available in two areas. First, a seminar or workshop can be held as a free standing event and not be part of any other program or event. Secondly, a seminar/workshop can be designed to be integrated into a separate event as a feature that would be interest and value as part of an overall program. An example would be a conference in which attendees would have a choice of several seminars/workshops to attend on various subjects.

CONSULTING SERVICES:

This service is made available to help address an organization's need for anger management training. The consulting assessment will include a review of policies and procedures in addressing anger related-issues. Other assessment areas can include, but not be limited to, such items as employee complaints, conflict resolution, and inter-personal hostilities. After the consulting process is completed, specific recommendations will be made for review.

PROGRAM MONITORING:

Services are available to monitor and review an existing program that includes instruction in anger management and related subject material. This monitoring will be used to determine if the desired program results are being achieved. The purpose of this service is not to replace existing programs, but to make possible refinements and corrections to increase the effectiveness of such programs.

CHURCH GROUP TRAINING:

A wide variety of programs, seminars and classes are available to church groups. The overall purpose of these programs is to be a resource to the churches in providing their members with the knowledge and skills to live an anger-controlled life based on God's word. These programs are not a Bible study in anger. However meaningful anger related scriptures and Bible references will be incorporated to add emphasis to the faith-based ideals and principles.

TRAINING FOR FACILITATORS

Seminars: Anger related seminars for professionals are available to meet a variety of objectives and schedules. These seminars can be designed to meet the specific needs of the profession. Examples would include law enforcement personnel, social workers, church ministry staff, human resources personnel, business/agency managers and employees, plus seminars for all types of professional associations. The success of these seminars depends upon a clear definition of the subject matter to be included, and what mechanism should be used to measure the seminar impact and results. Proper planning, curriculum development and sufficient lead time are essential for maximum success.

Schools for Facilitators: Training for prospective facilitators is available as the demand dictates. The usual training class size is six to ten individuals.

Training is available for those who do not wish to become certified as Anger Management Specialists. Such individuals are usually focused on working with only a certain group of people. These groups would include church groups, certain types of school groups, or perhaps a social or professional club. The training time will be dependent on the type and depth of training desired.

Training is also available for those individuals who wish to be certified as Anger Management Specialists. Their full in-depth training is usually met within a period of three to four weeks. The training sessions are set usually for one day per week. The length of each session is approximately two and one half to three and one half hours. A comprehensive exam will follow the last training session.
